This was the best tour we took during our 28 day vacation. Carmine was excellent, energetic and make sure that everyone was having fun. Away from the tourist attractions, he took us away the crowds . It was special. Thank You Carmine. Private Tours is the way to go.

Gyönyörű idő volt, gyönyörű helyeken jártunk, olyan utakon ahova a turistabusz biztos nem tud behajtani. A csúcspont egy helyi kis gazdaság és egyben étterem volt Amalfitól nem messze a meredek hegyoldalban csodálatos kilátással a tengerre. Nem az étlapról választottunk, hanem ettünk, amit hoztak. We booked the Ravello-Amalfi-Positano tour and we had Ciro as our driver, who met us at Napoli Station with our name on a sign, as promised. He drove a large Mercedes people mover which was parked just outside the station. We had about an hour at each location in addition to an hour for lunch (we opted for Ciro's recommendation of a restaurant in Positano with breathtaking views).
The itinerary was perfect! We had such lovely views of the Amalfi Coast. And we had just enough time to explore each city on our own, while also stopping for a few postcard pics, as Ciro would describe them.
Ciro was lovely! He was so friendly and spoke wonderful English and really made you feel at ease and like you could ask him anything and he had a great sense of humour too. Would definitely recommend him to anyone going to the Amalfi Coast and would definitely be calling him on our next trip back here! Loved the region and can't wait to come back!
We came in late October and the weather was perfect! And there weren't as many tourists as during the peak summer period so highly recommend coming in the shoulder season!
We would like to thank Carmine Foggia for providing us with an amazing day when our ship docked in Naples. First he was prompt in picking us up and explained what he had planned for the day. We had requested the Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano tour. The drive was breathtaking the coastline is amazing both outside of Naples and on the way to Positano. We had a brief stop in Sorrento and drove through the narrow streets Positano to a wonderful farm to table restaurant Trattoria La Fagliate. It would have been nice to have more time in both towns, but understandably we had to make choices on what we wanted to see or do. Sorrento seemed to be a more non tourist attraction and I would love to return there. Positano, appeared to have many of the same shops as most tourist town. The main attraction on this morning was simply the drive along the coast with the beautiful countryside. Carmine gave time to walk through the garden a the restaurant and answered questions, picking vegetable and fruit so we could taste it as we went and made several stops for us to see the coast and take pictures. Again, a wonderful morning of sightseeing (not shopping) with an excellent lunch! In the afternoon Carmine had arranged an excellent tour guide "the professor" for us to see the ruins in Pompeii which was fascinating. We enjoyed the tour and the guide. Carmine was prompt to pick us up and return us to our ship. We are travel agents and will recommend this tour and company to our clients.
