See Amalfi Coast

Katie of the SEE Amalfi Coast car service picked us up at the Naples, Italy port for cruise ships and took us on a Mercedes car tour of the Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi town of Positano. It was Sunday in August and the roads around Sorrento will be busy in the afternoon. Katie suggested we should visit Sorrento and Positano first and then Pompeii on the return route to Naples. This is a great idea and saved us time from sitting in the traffic when locals are returning to Naples from the beaches. We have our free time at Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. The drive along the Amalfi coast were beautiful and will be remembered for rest of my life.

Katie was knowledgeable and reliable getting us back to the ship and port well before the ship sailed. We wanted more time to visit Pompeii in the afternoon so we visited a restaurant called 'Da Consantino' on top of the hill in Postanio. Great view, quick and great food!!!! Katie spoke English very clearly and explained a lot of information and local facts to us.

5 Stars period!!!!

I recently came back from an 11 night cruise in the Med with my 3 teens. I use Trip Advisor for almost everything and found that See Amalfi Coast had amazing reviews so decided to book them for a private tour out of Naples. We had originally decided to do Pompeii, Vesuvius and Sorrento but upon further research, I changed my mind and wanted to spend more time on the Amalfi Coast. Our driver, Ciro was more than accommodating. He picked us up at the Port in a lovely Mercedes van and rearranged our timeline to visit the coast first. He was extremely knowledgeable and had some very interesting facts and stories to tell us which kept all four of us engaged and entertained. We were extremely thankful not to be sitting on a big coach bus on those windy roads. Positano was definitely the highlight of the day with stunning views and interesting little shops and I'm so glad we added this in. We stopped for lunch in beautiful Sorrento and then made our way to Pompeii. Because we didn't book a guide, Ciro made sure we had a map with the highlights circled so that we didn't get lost and saw the most interesting areas of Pompeii. It was just perfect. He got us back to the boat in ample time, even after driving around gorgeous Naples, pointing out the highlights for us. The whole day was amazing as was Ciro. I highly recommend them!

My husband and I booked a private tour through See Amalfi Coast for the day our cruise docked in Naples. We really wanted to see the Amalfi Coast, we we booked a tour that brought us to Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi. Upon exiting the boat, we were greeted by Bruno and escorted to a very lovely car. We then headed to Sorrento, while stopping along the way for lemon granitas mixed with club soda that were delicious!! Once we got to Positano, we had about an hour to walk around and shop. I had been to Positano before, and it was just as beautiful as I remembered. From there, we went to Amalfi, but it was raining so we decided to not get out of the car (plus, it looked very touristy and crowded). Instead, Bruno brought us up to the village of Scala, which sits juts above Ravello. He told us the story of how he came across this restaurant up there and decided to bring his tours there if they wanted a genuinely authentic Italian meal--he did not disappoint!! We were both so glad we decided to skip Amalfi and head up there for lunch. It was a delicious meal and the people were soo friendly. The woman who owns it makes her own olive oil that she uses at the restaurant, and we liked it so much that Bruno convinced her to sell us a bottle!

We then went to Ravello, which is such a beautiful town. I wish we had more time to spend there, but the weather wasn't great and it was getting late. All in all, it was a fantastic day, due largely in part to Bruno!

Bruno: thank you for such a great afternoon in such a beautiful place. We look forward to hopefully seeing you again soon!
