See Amalfi Coast

I can't say enough about our trip to Naples, Pompeii, and the beautiful Amalfi Coast. By far our favorite stop of a three week trip. Each of those locations is amazing on its own but it was really this tour company that made it special. Carmine was our driver and certainly the best guide of our entire trip. When he saw the line was long at Pompeii he found a friend leading a group tour that got us tickets without us waiting. He offered several options for the day but highly encouraged a relaxing lunch in one of the smaller towns along the Amalfi Coast where we had the best meal of our lives overlooking the incredible coastline. Carmine further added to the experience by arranging perfect seating, ordering for us, and giving us a private tour of the farm. We felt like royalty.

I should also mention we used this same tour company for our stops in Rome and Florence. Always professional service and high quality guides. This is really a great company.

Our group of 12 was met at the cruiseship for a scenic tour of Sorrento and Positano (with ample time for cappuccino, gelato and shopping) by Charlotte, our amazing guide and Luigi, driver par excellence , who navigated the streets of Positano with ease. Onward to Pompei where Charlotte led the group through the ruins, bringing the city to life. Her breadth of knowledge was extraordinary. There was no question that she was unable to answer. We look forward to traveling with hem again.

This tour was amazing. We cruised into Livorno for the day and booked this tour separate from the cruise ship excursions. Our tour guide, Mauro, was super friendly and picked us up on time. The Mercedes minivan was the perfect accommodation for our family of six. On our way to Florence we stopped at Pisa. There is no need to spend any more than an hour here. We took our standard pictures and marveled at this site. However, Mauro pointed out that there were other buildings in the area that were also leaning. On our way to Florence, we stopped in the countryside. The views of rolling mountains and vineyards, as far as the eye can see, were spectacular. Mauro then took us to the city of Florence. We exchanged places we wanted to see but he recommended we also see the Basilica of Santa Croce. This was the final burial place of the most illustrious Italians of the region. Iconic names such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Dante and Machiavelli just to name a few. This was the most memorable church we visited throughout Italy. The lunch recommendation was perfect. On our way back to the ship, Mauro even bought us to the best gelato place in all of Florence. Even though one day is not nearly enough to experience this beautiful Italian city, Mauro made sure that it was a day we would never forget.
